Below are the few music videos I've finished. I have quite a few half edited projects that will most likely never see the light of day. Damn you short attention span! Though I have played with the idea of making an archive of clips from my unfinished projects. It could happen *wink*

Can Delight

Song: Can Delight by Master Blaster
Footage: Bring It On (1-4), BTVS movie & series, Angel, Heroes
3 min 45 seconds | 54 megs | Edited May 2009

What to say. This is the craziest project I've ever taken on. This took a year of on and off editing. The song is awful but catchy, something I'd expect cheerleaders to perform to. The vid was inspired by Eliza Dushku being in both Bring it On and Buffy. Ultimately the goal was high energy - Let's Go!!!

Go Baby

Song: Cherry Lips by Garbage
Footage: Charlies Angels (Films)
3 min 27 seconds | 50.6 megs | Edited June 2009

I started this vid a few years ago intending it to be my first FX Vid. In the end I opted for no effects and stuck to pure timing. I think the chorus parts work well but I struggled with the slower parts of the song.

Forever Fuzz

Song: Glory of Love by Peter Cetera
Footage: Hot Fuzz
4 min 34 seconds | 50.2 megs | Edited Apirl 2008

A birthday present for my #1 girl. I had the footage ready before I had a song, which was a first for me. It took me ages to decide on the music which needed the best mix of drama, tonal variations and, of course, pure love. Are Nicholas and Danny not the cutest thing you've ever seen? Yes, they most definitely are.

Another Sunday

Song: We Built This City by Starship
Footage: Stargate Atlantis
4 min 30 seconds | 41.6 megs | Edited June 2007

This began as a calm, relaxing vid about the city. But while editing I happend to have Starship's "We Build this City" in my playlist and one thing lead to another. This is my first After Effects project. It didn't turn out how I had envisioned but it's not bad for a first try. I wanted it to be WAY cheesier, just like the 80's.

Lover Boys

Song: Good Old Fashion Lover Boy by Queen
Footage: Getbackers, Fruits Basket & Gravitation
2 min 56 seconds | 44.6 megs | Edited August 2005

Edited for the Yaoi Con 2005 music video contest. I'm happy with the results, it's fun and light hearted.

Oceans

Song: Oceans of Lust by Devotchka
Footage: Firefly
3 min 31 seconds | 21.7megs | Edited July 2005

Firefly is such a dynamic show it's hard to pick an emotion to focus on when making a vid. I knew I wanted to do something upbeat and fun. Luckily I found an energetic song with just a tiny bit of seriousness so I could sneak in those dramtic plot elements.

Spectacular Anime

Song: The Pitch from Moulin Rouge OST
Footage: Various Anime
2 min 50 seconds | 61.1 megs | Edited June 2002

My first amv. Details on the vid are at AMV.org. All the mattes in this vid were hand painted, yes it took forever. Some of the footage wasn't released domestically when this was done so there are a few video quality drops. I should go back and replace it now but I know I never will. I'm lazy like that.

Harry Potter Vid

Song: Boys Choir - Pachelbel's Canon
Footage: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
3 min 43 seconds |12megs | Edits: November 2002

I threw this video together in like two days when I was sick home from work. It's seriously pretty boring and I don't recommend downloading it unless you're a big HP fan. The vid mainly retells the story of SS in chronological order, see? Very mundane. The song is gorgeous though, I wish I knew what boys choir sang it.
